Creative assessment

OpenArt Director

A tokusatsu scene breaks the fourth wall. Directing the action becomes the joke—and the product demonstration.

My role

Concept, visual development, AI generation, editing, captions, sound and final delivery.

Created for OpenArt’s AI Content Creator creative assessment. Presented as a production case study; not an official or commissioned OpenArt campaign.

The brief

Create a short-form vertical ad for OpenArt Director that works in a social feed. Use a split-screen reaction format, English dialogue and Japanese subtitles. Keep it under 30 seconds and make the product part of the gag.

Creative decisions

Make the product part of the story

A creator directs a Japanese superhero sequence in real time. As the notes become more specific, the characters react to the creator. The directing itself becomes the demonstration, without interrupting the story for a software walkthrough.

Build continuity before motion

The workflow began with visual references for the hero, kaiju, environment and streamer. These assets were brought into OpenArt Director to develop shots, refine framing and performances, generate storyboard frames and animate the selected shots.

Deliver for the feed

Editing, pacing, bilingual captions, sound and the final CTA were assembled in CapCut for the vertical delivery.
